Please join us for a labor march and demonstration in
Atlantic
City on Saturday, June 21, in support of our UAW brothers and
sisters fighting for fair contracts.
Go to
http://www.June21ACRally.org
for more information. June 21
will be a day for pride, for support and for families, as we
stand together for an important cause.
The facts are simple: During the last year, thousands of casino
dealers, slot technicians, keno and simulcast employees and
other workers voted by huge majorities to form their own unions
in Atlantic City.
But casino owners are refusing to negotiate. They're stalling at
the bargaining table -- and in court.
It's just not right. In America, when all the votes are counted,
the results have to matter. That means a fair deal for all
Atlantic City casino workers.
We'll be marching on June 21 with AFL-CIO President John
Sweeney, New Jersey State AFL-CIO President Charlie Wowkanech --
and with thousands of casino workers and community supporters.
We look forward to seeing you in Atlantic City on Saturday, June
21. Go to http://www.June21ACRally.org to find out how you can
join us.
